  • Andrew Mangion

    Andrew Mangion

    Executive Chairman

    Andrew Mangion serves as the Executive Chairman for EC. In 1997 he acquired equity in the fledgling company and grew the organization into one of the leading international players in the industry. Prior to joining EC, he ran the Indian and Baltic operations of an international trading company. Andrew championed the start-up of the first YPO Chapter in Malta, serving as Chair (2005-2008). He also served as member of the YPO European Board. He was President of the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations in Malta (2008-2010), and is a Director of Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College, two of Malta’s leading private schools.

  • Michael Giffin

    Michael Giffin

    Chief Financial Officer

    Mike Giffin qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse and has spent twenty years working in senior finance roles, fifteen as CFO at international media and other major companies before moving into education as the CFO of EC Group in 2015. Since joining the EC Board, Mike has worked closely with the Higher Education team and has been involved with the creation of the new digital division, Fusion. He is also responsible for the financial performance of EC and works closely with the recruitment and marketing teams around the world. He has been responsible for creating and executing plans to enter new geographical markets and business areas, particularly in e-commerce.

    Executive Vice President, Partnership Development

    May Arthur has spent the last 22 years of her professional career dedicated to serving international students. Her commitment to advancing international education in the US can be seen through her involvement with NAFSA, her most recent election to NAFSA as the Eastern Massachusetts Representative for Region XI, and through her past service on English USA’s Executive Board as Vice President of Outreach (2002-2004), Vice President of Standards (2004-2006), and President (2008-2011).

  • Dawn Sherman, Ed.D.

    Dawn Sherman, Ed.D.

    Vice President of Academics and Operations

    Dr. Sherman has over 25 years of experience in higher education serving in various academic and student affairs leadership roles for institutions including Nichols College, American International College, Bryant University, and Auburn Global at Auburn University in Alabama. Dr. Sherman led the development of a new private-public enterprise of 800+ students and 70 staff within its first year. She co-created dozens of new and expanded degree programs, and developed onsite certificate and degree programs at corporations. Dr. Sherman has also been an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE), and the National Career Development Association (NCDA).

  • Cameron Harvey

    Cameron Harvey

    Vice President of Global Recruitment

    Cam Harvey is a graduate of the University of Toronto and comes to EC Higher Education with a long and dedicated career in the higher education sector. He is a respected international student recruitment professional with diverse experience in a broad range of markets throughout Asia, Latin America, Europe and the United States. He has spent over 20 years in the recruitment space, serving as Marketing and Sales Director for Study Group, Vice President of Recruitment and Admissions at Blyth Education, and Sales Director for select regions at Embassy English. Cam also has extensive experience as a recruitment consultant and owner of his own award-winning education agency.
